Couldn't go ahead with it

What the *** is it with kitchen renovation reps? Was just at Artarmon Kitchen Connection in NSW, and I cannot get over how smug and rude our customer rep was. And they're not the only company we've had that experience with.

Not only did they waste our time (could have absolutely taken notes while showing us all the products of what we liked), we then had to sit down for another half an hour and go through what we liked, which had already been discussed the prior half hour.

On top of that, I could see my wife getting incredibly flustered (turning red) with how smug and arrogant this woman was. She was inattentive, didn't listen, was constantly smirking and making snide comments.

Well done, you just cost the business a potential $50k. No idea why you're a rep.

Dealing with Kitchen Connection was a pleasing experience. Things were happening on schedule. Everything was organised well.

There were some mishaps, that delayed things, but everything was quickly fixed up and we received what we ordered. Communication with a project manager and punctuality of tradies was absolutely great! We love our new kitchen! Overall a great experience!

You must be one of the few very lucky people who actually got a functioning product with no issues. I'd go buy a lotto ticket if I were you.

If you want to pay up front the whole amount before delivery and project manage the job your self and the trades go to kitchen connect , the communications skills between trades and client are on par with a two year old child but nevertheless trades are very quick to ask for payment before actually completing works , so if you are completely brain dead or retarted and listen to your spouse I dare you to try kitchen connect

Plasterer did not arrive on set day, flooring was not ordered

Flooring company had 6 months notice of the job but did not order enough tiles to do the job, we had to wait a week for them to get more stock, the plasterer did not know about our job, he only found out about our job when I called Richard (liason) plumbers did not connect the dishwasher properly, and left tools behind, I am Not empressd!

Not finishing my kitchen

Will never use kitchen connection again as 5 months later, kitchen still hasnt finished. They built the cabinetry too small for the fridge I ordered from them. And they still havent finished the job after going to showroom twice and also calling them. No body wants to take ownership for it. So frustrating. After they got my money, the service stopped. Disappointing

Terrible experience

What a run around., I attended the show room picked out the kitchen, had the designer at my house , agreed on a price paid the deposit contract was to be emailed..one week later after multiple calls txt ect and another onsite vist i was told my quote is invalid unless i pay an extra $1300best yet they still have my deposit Steer clear of this useless company ..or should I say great job Mat manager of the year u are.

Absolute rubbish , would not recommend to anybody, cabinet doors different sizes , misalignment issues the list is too long , Scheduling the job what a joke Over all amateurs absolutely not worth the dollars

My biggest complaint when the kitchen was finished was that the cupboards sagged with my glassware inside. They told me that that was my problem because the glassware was too heavy. The old cupboards had held it all with no trouble. Now, four years later, the vinyl wrap is coming off the doors. I'm really cranky about this. My twenty year old kitchen had this problem and I wanted to better product in my new expensive kitchen. I was told that it was heat treated and would never come off. Ripped off.

I am very satisfied with my kitchen from beginning to end .The showroom staff,the measurement man, coordinator, delivery, & contractors. All were courteous and professional. It was all well organised and the communication throughout was faultless.

Poor workmanship and supervision was nonexistent. Need to regrout the tile on backsplash. Max the owner wanted me to take down my negative review on Google.He told me because of my experience he fired the supervisor on the job.Incidentally she never came to the house to to determine for herself what were complaining about. The phone was rarely answered.

Faulty drawer in wardrobe

Want to make a complaint and I want a refund of my half holding deposit been waiting for a phone call from area manager to complain about the customer service because I want to opt out!

I have been requesting a refund only 2 weeks after the designer came out to our home the designer was great but we were misconceived from the get go about financial options. I gave them a holding deposit not a full one because we werent sure of financing.

I was straight with the store manager stating no we can not have the kitchen I would like a refund. They are now saying I had to drive into the show room to sign a document that cant be done through email!! I live 1.5h drive one way. They still said I must come in.

Ive tried head office 3 times no one calls back so I cant make a higher complaint !

They want to keep our money and have tried to guilt trip us into getting a kitchen even though we have found out it impossible this year and the next. Have felt harassed.

I totally agree with you! They are heartless.

It is useless to speak to the QLD state manager. He’s worse! Same situtation here. They dont want to give my deposit back.

I even asked if I can just purchase a wardrobe instead. They said it has to be at least $10000.

I hope people stay away from this company. Do not support it at all!

Hi All, I have read the reviews and am only sorry that I didn't read them before signing up for a new kitchen. The kitchen has not been completed as yet and like most of you have had a horrible experience. How were most of your issued resolved by KC, did KC resolve them or you had to go higher up the chain. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My father passed away after being in Palliative Care and I now cannot afford to proceed with my kitchen with Kitchen Connection, with funeral costs and complete upheaval to my life. Kitchen Connection offers no bereavement compassion, insisting that I continue and will not offer a refund or any kind of financial consideration at this time of bereavement. A callous company with no empathy for human sadness.

So sorry for your loss.. yes I agree they have no compassion at all.

I wonder if there is anyone on this site who have complained to the ombudsman. I will be! I am not letting them keep my deposit without a fight!

If people dont speak up against them they will keep doing this to people. I’d be the happiest if they go bankrupt and close down for good and forever!

Terrible service

Not happy with the customer service. I have paid in full prior to the kitchen delivery as requested. However not all parts have been delivered. They did not deliver handles. So kitchen was incomplete. Stephen who was in charge never replied to my messages and phones calls. Then they promised they will come next week to install handed. But they never come. After numerous follow-up nothing has been done. I can't use my kitchen. My kitchen is incomplete. Very terrible service. They don't care about the customer's, specifically Strphen who is very ignorant person.

Our kitchen was suppose to take 3 weeks instead it took nearly 5 months. Numerous (9) cupboard doors had to be replaced. Nearly all panels had to be either replaced or realigned. Off cuts were pushed and left under the oven. Not once did the supervisor check on any work done and it took numerous phone calls to get him and look at the faults. When questioned he said that they were too busy to check on contractors work. Glass splash back had to be replaced because of the measurements were incorrect. Iwowould not w
